It's about being one at a time, totally actor and fully spectator, an artist in his practices and an everyday individual, as much as a researcher.
This internship proposal has only one goal: to offer a first audience to a personal experimentation for each participant. It must be a free form, an intimate or spectacular expression in the form of a first draft - this point is important - however modest it may be.
This first gesture is not, however, an improvisation of the moment. We propose to tackle here singular "scenic events", several times mentally projected during his life, but which have never, until now, found the opportunity to take shape. Something that one thinks about relatively recurrently; that in a certain sense has been obsessing, even defying one's own imagination for some time or perhaps even for some time.
A single act or a complex or bushy elaboration; sounds, voices, postures, exhibitions, exchanges, presentations of any kind, words, dances... the list is endless and above all - it is its quality in this matter - "unimaginable" for those, spectators of each other during this moment of training, who could not have imagined it in the place of the one who is performing at this moment under their eyes.
The place of teaching in such cases must translate into an attempt to understand the proposal made in the most comprehensive and intuitive way.
There is no question here of directing, as one would do in the theatre, nor of having the will to go towards a defined objective, nor of wanting to contribute to the completion of a form and even less of substituting for its author.
The aim and method will be to question the creators/interpreters about this stage of their project, so that its development, throughout the day, will bounce, absorb, reject, accept, refute, escape or mould itself in contact with the fermentation of the spirits eager for answers or forbidden in the face of the varying degrees of their receptivity to someone else's thing.
Each one will thus find herself in turn on both sides of the barrier on various occasions, posing and solving in a hundred different ways the enigmas that are at the very heart of any scenic proposal that does not seek to guide the conventions of a specific art a priori.
We could call it what it is: Performance.
An audio system (computer, mixer, amplified speakers, microphone) and a video projector will be provided so that everyone can broadcast the materials they need. (Digital media only: USB key, external hard disk, DVD) It will be your responsibility to bring accessories, make-up, costumes, texts or other ingredients that may be useful for the work you are planning. A tarpaulin can be put on the ground in case of use of liquids or dirty materials. (No shower is present on site, only a washbasin).
The stages are a gateway to the stage.
They bring the keys to the notion of acting.
