They shocked many last year with 'Les Puritains', a truly hysterical and almost pornographic show. Imposter or new Genet?
David Noir cries censorship when Pierre Cardin bans the performances of his latest show "Les Justes Story". He was chased out the door, but returned through the window.
Meeting with the troublemaker, author, actor and director of his texts on the occasion of the creation, at the Trianon, of "Les Justes, Story" or how to play sexuality on a theatre stage. The limits, the possibilities, the tolerable and the unacceptable.

The Righteous a Manga-musical comedy

Forbidden last June by Pierre Cardin in his Petit Espace, Les Justes-Story is the second show by the company La vie est courte. Based on a text by and with David Noir, a troupe of actors take over the stage, and sometimes the room, for a performance that looks like a cabaret. They dress in drag, sing, dance and fuck. "The theatre has a long way to go to find a free and dynamic expression of its art, and we claim to be tracing a possible path once again" writes David Noir. A freedom of tone that intends to denounce the hostage-taking of the society of the spectacle.

Libres Scènes welcomes a part of the company that will be present in Avignon this summer.

With live performances by the actors of the play: David Noir, Jean-François Rey, Stéphane Desvignes, Jean-Hugues Laleu, Jacques Meystre and Olivier Bracon, visual artist.

Presented by Aude Lavigne
