Thinking in 3 dimensions

In fact, I don't like the principle of articles at all. I don't like the pages either. Menus even less. In short, it doesn't fit. While looking for the solution, I am suffocating in the principles of the blog, the Web, the Internet and the two-dimensional page. Ditto for links, beginnings, endings, conclusions of literature... None of it fits. The omnipresent limits of the stage, of the real, of the virtual, of narration, of novels, of theatre... no form seems open enough to me to allow the freedom necessary for the retranscription of the movements of the brain, of the desires, of the thought, of the all-in-one creation such as my mind conceives it: a form of 3D in constant development, a proliferation in relief of the sequences and the associations of ideas

A visit to the mind and body in all its aspects is the only artistic or other expression (no doubt it would be necessary to find another name for it, to widen the field) that attracts me, intrigues me and interests me enough to have the desire to dig into it, to go in search of its foundations. From this point of view, images have a certain power, but as soon as they are animated, the result is a banal series of sequences that we still call cinema, from near or far. I don't like this chronological use of time either. 1+1+1+1 ... when will we get out of this? Thought, the imaginary, is a succession of layers that give the possibility of being read transversally, in the sense of thickness as much as in their length or width. That's where I breathe, where I find nothing to stop me from enjoying the show. 3D applied to video games, game engines and other such software allow a form of narration that is close to what I like to experience on stage and in improvisation. But how complex is its implementation to obtain something convincing!

The logic, the explanation, even worse the scenario... all this apparent pedagogy for the story-consuming spectator makes me feel like stucco and cardboard applied to the immediate harshness of desires and thought. That's why performance exists, I think; not too far from life. Because of course, there is life in the first place, one might say. But art is all about telling the fantasy inspired by life as best it can. For an artist, life is only a source of inspiration. Only for adventurers is it enough to tell its own story. For the others, they must draw the desire to live from the distance of the truer-than-life illusion. The consumption of the present time is not enough for them. To enjoy, yes of course, I know what it is. Play, eat, drink, touch. I do it, I enjoy it, on stage, in life. The whole trick of art is to prolong the moment, to highlight it, to freeze it, to shape it as you please. A little suspended eternity. This is the principle of an exhibition that works, of a film that sucks in its audience, of a book that absorbs us, of a music that captivates. Of a video game even more so today, capable when it is well done of drawing the player into its pursuit for ten hours or so. That's all well and good, but I want the permanence of art; an instantaneous, simultaneous and permanent expression of what's going on in my head. An uninterrupted retranscribed connection. The Internet seems to be not far from being able to offer me the support. So in addition to the stage, too rare and difficult to implement, I cling to it. Unfortunately the famous two dimensions of the screen are still present everywhere. Zero depth. To give volume to the rigorous linearity of time as we perceive it, I have not yet found any other solution than to produce here and there, more or less all the time on various platforms. I still have to make a few more efforts to open up the Eldorado of a limitless space that I would only have to explore. This is how I see art; not as a series of projects but as an endless expanse with no other goal than to expand. To reread myself as little as possible, not to preconceive anything beyond a desire.
