WORLD

When you are shocked by anything, anything that exists, it's because you are ignorant; that you have made up your own little idea of the world, but in the end you don't know anything about the world; that you haven't understood anything about it; that you haven't gone to look elsewhere, not even in what connects your head to your underwear. So we are freshly surprised by the movement of things, by the true and raw truth, the one and only, because no, there is no other. There are no others, relative truths galore, except for the philosophical thinker who, jerking off methodically, enjoys the silky quilts of stimulating paradoxes. Yes, one is freshly astonished by the down of one's good pink cheeks as a navel-gazer, satisfied with one's little beliefs. We are astonished at human nature, at nature itself, like a big dumb fool, like a fat cow convinced that it's a size 6, like an asshole laughing, indignant, contracting, relaxing according to the spasms of his air-filled ego. So stupid, so fat cow, so asshole, so satisfied, so indignant, so satisfied with his fresh and new indignation, that the idea has never occurred to him to go and see what might be going on behind his dull social noggin.

Go! Go listen. Closer, I tell you. Go listen to your overwhelming desire to rape everything that moves, to have your dicks twisted, to sodomize kids, to slaughter your rivals. Then maybe we'll talk about your world view. Because you have a vision, yes; you have your own morality, a very common one; a morality based on the obvious, which shouldn't be, which doesn't understand why, which resents, which finds it unworthy of. And then, if you're not too stupid, you can do something a little better, a little more amusing or pretty with your indignation as a great mature reflexive. You can invent something, you who don't have the primitive weakness to act. You'll be able to transcend; you'll finally be able to open it wide and not just on BFMTV. Doubt is also good, it's true. But doubt can be visited like a landscape. You shouldn't make it your mount, especially not; by definition, doubt doesn't have very strong backbone. It can be visited, yes; it can be crossed but not ridden; you don't gallop towards yourself on your back across the pastures. There, if we stop, we can sometimes wonder if it is really us that the cows are looking at with their eyes devoid of astonishment.
