Description

Risking yourself in a body bath. Give yourself the freedom to stay there. Tranquilize your fear. Confront desire. Give in to it. Flee from it. Test yourself. Invent something else. Not to be afraid of looks. Not afraid to look. Knowing who you are at that moment. To forget it. Get out of it. To go back in. Become a little simpler, a little less tense, a little less overexcited, a little less standardised, with each immersion. Calm down and start again.

Nudity, nudity darling...

In 15 years, nudity has gradually established itself on contemporary stages.

As proof that what has become commonplace today was not so commonplace at the time, one need only look at the articles, enthusiastic or cynical, that welcomed the creation of the "Puritans" from 1998 to 2000 (read the Puritans' press).

However, the naked body is still far from arousing an ordinary gaze. Starting with the one that each one wears on his own when it comes to revealing it to others.

To the eternal clumsy and tense defence that springs up in reaction in the form of: "But why do it? Is it justified? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah...", one is almost embarrassed for the sad and dull pain that such a parade expresses about the freedom to be.

The intrinsic force, attractive and disturbing, but also infinitely soothing, of flesh without camouflage, is far from having fascinated its last spectator.
