Group video session

The session can be carried out by a group of people in isolation or by a group of people connected from the same place.

It may be a rehearsal that requires an outside view. In this case, the transmitter (phone or tablet) will have to cover the whole scene in a general shot or be handled by a third party who will follow the performers in their movements.

The case of a grouping via Zoom of individual participants is more akin to a technique course where actors take turns to perform. Scene work may be done for a passage that requires few characters simultaneously and with little action.

Living Scene | Benefits

It's alive!

Finding the right formula
Under increased scrutiny

Videoconferencing brings up the interesting question of capturing live performance, which in this case is quite relevant in my opinion, if we treat it as what it is: a surveillance camera reporting on acts from a certain point of view.

Almost cinema

Videoconferencing also allows for the use of close-ups and in this sense, can bring the work closer to directing an actor for the camera.
