Even if theatre and the stage as a whole are in essence the art of the living and the live expressed without filter or technological interface, modern means of communication such as videoconferencing can quite easily allow an exchange and a mode of work particularly adapted to monologues and acting direction.
From an actor's technical point of view, address to the public and precision of thought, the video channel offers a comfortable context, economic since there is no need to rent a room and paradoxically, a greater proximity insofar as the screens of our telephones or computers are able to deliver a form of intimacy that would require too much closeness in a non-virtual context.
