It's not a question of being in good terms with anyone who doesn't want to be, nor of "making society", yuck once and for all! It's about deserving one's supposed brain capacities as an evolved individual. There is a price to be paid for becoming human: not just being.

I want to remain a stranger | David Noir

Stranger to everything ? Stranger to you ?

I like incomplete things; animal fossils that lack a skeleton and holes in the text. Filling in the blanks carries with it a kind of anguished stupidity that would like to explain life to us but prevents us from imagining it. The right answers, right?
We have them, we find them, because we are so scared. In these jovial and humorous times, we do what we can to swallow the figure of death, but there is a kind of
stops at the throat, don't you think? I love the Eldorado of my little imaginary dictatorship and I dream of a world where my beloved imbeciles would never have a say. But
this time I take it from them; I give it to them. Your complacency is your bullshit, remember? And your cowardice is your way of life. So, in memory of us, in memory of you
In mirror of us. In mirror of you.

You're not my face

You are not my project.

You don't think I want to meet humans, do you?

Approximate duration: 40'.
Conception, direction, interpretation: David Noir

The idealization of "the woman" is the source of the contempt you hold for her. Virgin, mother, commodity adored like gold. I love her and I don't care. I live alone on an island among you. You won't get away with your system of fictitious relationships, complacent or radical, all drowned in paradox. You are a contradiction to yourself. You are now stuck. You have stuck yourself by wanting communication to happen between us. But... what the hell, why develop?

At the very heart of the paradox you have created I don't want to talk. I just want to stay forever. To remain a stranger.
